La Salle shocks AdU, gains finals
MANILA, Philippines—La Salle stunned erstwhile unbeaten Adamson, 70-67, in overtime to advance to the finals of the FCBL Dickies Cup held over the weekend at the Philippine Buddhacare gym in Quezon City.
Aracelie Abaca led La Salle with 20 points but it was Nicole Garcia who made the difference, hitting a clutch basket with only 20 ticks left as the Lady Archers beat the former UAAP champion for the first time in a long while.
In all, Garcia had 10 points, six rebounds, two assists and two steals to clinch her first Dickies Underwear Player of the Game award.

In despair, the Lady Falcons fouled Trisha Patas who both made her free throws for the final count of the game presented by Dickies.
La Salle arranged a face-off with WNCAA titlist Lyceum on Saturday. Lyceum bested UST, 70-58, in the event backed by Smart, Mang Inasal, Home Depot and Powerhouse.
