Make it a ‘5-peat’ for CEU
Centro Escolar University is building its own dynasty in one of the major cheerdance competions in the country.
The CEU Pep Squad stamped its class anew and won its fifth straight title in the 49th WNCAA Cheerdance Competition Saturday at Smart Araneta Coliseum.
Host St. Paul College Pasig, meanwhile, ruled the juniors division of the event, which was organized by the Gymnastics Association of the Philippines and supported by the Inquirer.
Article continues after this advertisementThe 21-member WNCAA spiced up the event with performances by gymnastics national team members and a performance from eight-time UAAP cheerdance champion University of the Philippines.
But all eyes were on CEU, whose near-flawless performance left no doubt about its reign in the WNCAA.
