#KicksStalker: Auto-lacing kicks for automatic shooter Marcio Lassiter
MANILA, Philippines—Marcio Lassiter is no stranger to wearing some of the precious sneakers on and off the parquet floor.
From countless retro Jordans to some Nike ID flavors, Lassiter always makes sure to deck out in neck-breaking silhouettes.

There’s no question that Lassiter was the first to wear Nike’s self-lacing basketball sneakers on the PBA floor but the Beermen’s lethal shooter hopes that more would follow in his footsteps.
“I wouldn’t be surprised if someone does wear these it’ll be a good thing,” said Lassiter said of the high-tech sneakers which were made available last month and retail for $350 USD. “Hopefully in the future they make more shoes like this.”

Lassiter, who demonstrated how the shoe tightens and loosens just by a push of a button, finished with 16 points on 4-of-8 shooting from three in the Beermen’s easy victory.
“It’s cool to have a shoe that’s tying laces for you so you feel like the shoe itself is a very cool shoe,” said Lassiter. “It has a good grip, comfortable, aerodynamic, and it’s fits like a glove.”
Lassiter also has another more personal reason why he chose to wear the BB Adapts and that was for the healthy competition going on with his teammate Chris Ross as to who among the two of them has better sneakers.
“You know who has the better kicks, I know it’s your birthday but come on Chris,” said Lassiter of Ross who celebrated his 34th birthday on Saturday.
“I know he’s going to level up and he’ll get shoes and we’re going to surprise each other.”
And for the sake of their fun sneaker duel, Ross rocked a pair of “South Beach” LeBron 8s after the game.
