CLARK—The top ten finishers of the first Philippine OCR National Open last Sunday have earned their spots in the national training pool for Obstacle Course Racing, which is making its debut in the 2019 Southeast Asian Games.

Jeffrey Reginio topped the men’s Elite category, finishing the 10-kilometer course composed of 25 obstacles at Clark Global City here in just 50 minutes and 34 seconds.

Manolito Divina came in at second place, crossing the finish line just two minutes behind Reginio while Nathaniel Sanchez (53:38), Racky Madorable (54:52) and Gab Rosario (56:40) rounded out the top five in the men’s division.

In the women’s side, Sarah Lim Narvaza conquered the Conquer Challenge race—which was also participated by other OCR enthusiasts and beginners—in one hour, 14 minutes and 52 seconds.

Crystal Umala trailed Narvaza by less than a minute, coming in at 1:15:25. Glorien Merisco finished at 1:17:09

The athletes will be part of the national training pool from which the athletes who will compete in the regional meet, hosted by the Philippines in December, this year will be chosen.
