NU, Angelicum face fancied foes in Shakey’s Girls Volley
MANILA, Philippines—National University and Angelicum College hope to keep their winning ways against a pair of fancied teams as action in the Shakey’s Girls Volleyball League NCR leg resumes Saturday at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig City.
The NU tossers swept their first three matches in Pool A but brace for a tough outing against the De La Salle-Zobel (DLZ) side at 1 p.m. while Angelicum goes for its third win in a row in Pool B against University of the East in the 9 a.m. opener of a six-game bill.

In other matches, UP Integrated School makes its debut in the event backed by Toby’s, Mikasa and Asics against King’s Montessori School in Pool B at 10 a.m. and Mighty Sports-Hope Christian School eyes a second straight win against St. James College-Parañaque at 11 a.m. in Pool A.
