Pampanga edges Bulacan to enter NBTC Division II semis
MANILA, Philippines—Pampanga survived a tough struggle against Bulacan, 82-74, in the Division II Fantastic Eight of the 2019 NBTC National Finals Thursday at Mall of Asia Arena.
Jiam Quiambao led the Kapampangan’s three-pronged attack with 34 points with 13 rebounds while Jacob Delfino added 18 points while coming away with three steals.
Jolo Manansala also finished with a double-double for Pampanga with 15 points and 11 boards.
Waiting for Pampanga in the semifinals is General Santos after beating Dumaguete 79-70.
John Bravo led the way for the Bulakeños with 25 points and 20 rebounds.
The other semifinals game will pit Lyceum-Cavite against Italy.
Lyceum-Cavite got its semifinals ticket after lambasting Tagum, 93-61, while Italy edged Legazpi, 83-75, in their matchup.
