POC president assures smooth sailing in preparations for Sea Games hosting
As far as the Philippine Olympic Committee is concerned, everything is running smoothly in the country’s preparations for hosting the 30th Southeast Asian Games.
Ricky Vargas, the POC president, gave the assurance on Thursday that the Philippine hosting of the Games on Nov. 30-Dec. 11 will proceed as planned in cooperation with the Philippine Sports Commission and the Philippine SEA Games Organizing Committee (Phisgoc).
“Phisgoc is working very hard every day and we just have to work together with the PSC,” said Vargas during Thursday’s POC general assembly at Meralco multipurpose hall.
