MANILA, Philippines—Lyceum-Cavite and St. Augustine Institute-Pampanga are set to duke it out in the 2019 NBTC National Finals Division II championship after overcoming their respective opponents in the Fearless 4 Friday at Mall of Asia Arena.
The Junior Pirates stopped Holy Trinity College-General Santos, 114-94, while St. Augustine Institute-Pampanga took down Italy Europe Proudly Pinoy, 88-74.
John Barba led Lyceum’s charge with 28 points and 11 rebounds while Mac Guadana filled the stat sheets with 24 points, seven rebounds, and seven assists.
McTrol Crisostomo led General Santos with 29 points, 15 of which came from beyond the arc.
Jiam Quiambao led the way for St. Augustine with 30 points and 11 rebounds while Carlos Ferraras added 22 points.
Chiolo Anonuevo had 27 points for Italy in its first appearance in the tournament.
