UAAP volleyball: After another loss to UP, La Salle vents ire on NU
MANILA, Philippines–La Salle handily defeated National University, 25-20, 25-18, 25-10, to regain its winning ways Wednesday in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball at FilOil Flying V Center.
The three-time defending champions leaned on team captain Desiree Cheng, who banged in 17 points aside from providing direction they lacked in their previous game where they surrendered in three sets to University of the Philippines Lady Maroons.

Now La Salle is tied with first game winner University of Santo Tomas at 6-3, just below league leader Ateneo (7-1).
The Lady Bulldogs, who dragged the Lady Spikers to a four-setter in the first round, were nowhere near that form as they absorbed their seventh defeat in nine games.
