UAAP volleyball: Lady Bulldogs eliminate Lady Falcons from Final 4 race

MANILA, Philippines–National University brushed off a late fourth-set charge by Adamson to prevail, 28-26, 30-32, 25-21, 25-22, Sunday in the UAAP women’s volleyball at SM Mall of Asia Arena.

The Lady Bulldogs blew a 21-16 lead in the fourth frame and witnessed the Lady Falcons come within 23-21.

But rookies Ivy Lacsina and Princess Robles came through to bail out the Lady Bulldogs, who upped their mark to 3-7 and keep their playoff chances alive.

Roselyn Doria led NU with 18 points, while Robles had 14 as the Lady Bulldogs recovered from a straight sets defeat to La Salle the previous match.

Adamson, meanwhile, is out of the Final Four contention after sliding to 1-9.
