MANILA, Philippines—Floyd Mayweather Jr. took the waiting game too seriously.
The former pound-for-pound king was a no show at his press conference which was initially scheduled at 3 p.m. at Resorts World Manila.
Event organizers have already apologized not that they were liable but for Mayweather’s fickle-mindedness that has caused the inexplicable delay and eventually cancellation of the event.
“It appears that Mr. Mayweather has enjoyed Manila very much that he has deviated from his itinerary,” a Resorts World Manila representative announced around 9 p.m.

Two hours later, another announcement came bearing the news that Mayweather will no longer be available for the presser.
Mayweather arrived in the Philippines on board his private jet on Sunday and wasted no time in vacationing at newly-reopened Boracay before flying to Manila on Tuesday.
He is set to leave the country on Wednesday.
Manny Pacquiao had to wait for years before Mayweather finally faced him.
The media had to wait too, only this time, Mayweather never showed up.
