Quarters duel vs KaTropa not about Terrence vs TNT, says Romeo
MANILA, Philippines—There was much hype surrounding Terrence Romeo’s first game against TNT since his trade to San Miguel Beer following a falling out with the franchise last December.
But while all eyes were on Romeo during Saturday’s quarterfinals duel between the Beermen and the KaTropa, the crack guard refused to hog the spotlight.

“I was excited. The goal is to win. It’s not about Terrence vs TNT, it’s San Miguel vs TNT,” added Romeo, who missed San Miguel’s game against TNT back in the elimination round due to a foot injury.
But it did seem like Romeo was playing with added motivation and that extra push resulted to him finishing with a team-high 15 points.
