Manila Golf Ladies lures banner field
Princess Superal and Pauline del Rosario banner a star-studded field teeing it up in the ICTSI Manila Golf Ladies Classic starting Wednesday.
The two young Filipino pros will pretty much carry the local challenge as entries from the LPGA of Taiwan and a big number of talented bets coming from Thailand are also taking part in the 54-hole event set inside posh Forbes Park.
Superal is the reigning Order of Merit champion of the local tour and will be playing a course that suits her game, the exclusive layout not being that lengthy but requiring so much precision.
Del Rosario, meanwhile, won the OOM two years ago and is itching to win a tournament on local soil again even as fellow Symetra Tour campaigners Mia Piccio and Cyna Rodriguez will also be seeing action.
The Taiwan LPGA will be spearheaded by No. 3 Babe Liu.
