ONE: Filipino bet Eric Kelly absorbs quick KO as losing skid stretches

MANILA, Philippines—It took just one punch for South Korea’s Won Il Kwon to dictate the match and score the technical knockout win over the Philippines’ Eric Kelly in ONE: Roots of Honor Friday at Mall of Asia Arena.

Won landed a big right overhand that sent Kelly to the mat.

The Korean then landed stiff hammer throws forcing the referee to call a stop to the match 19 seconds into the first round.

Won bounced back from his February loss to Masakazu Imanari to improve to 4-1 while Kelly (12-6) continued his slide, losing his sixth straight fight since 2015.
