UAAP volleyball: UE beats Adamson for best record in 7 years

MANILA, Philippines–University of the East fashioned out a 25-14, 25-19, 25-22, victory over Adamson Saturday to register its best season in seven years in the UAAP women’s volleyball at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.

After staying in the doldrums for years and experiencing a revolving door of coaches, the Lady Warriors scored their third win in 12 matches so far. They have a chance to even improve the record because they still have two more games to go.

But that would be a difficult task as UE’s last two opponents happen to be the league big shots Ateneo and La Salle.

The Lady Falcons absorbed their eighth straight defeat to fall to 1-11.
