UAAP men’s volleyball: NU bags 12th straight win, FEU dumps La Salle

MANILA, Philippines—National University pushed its winning streak to 12 games after making quick work of University of the Philippines, 25-18, 25-21, 25-22, in the UAAP Season 81 men’s volleyball tournament Wednesday at Filoil Flying V Center.

Bryan Bagunas finished with 17 points to lead the Bulldogs, who are at top spot with a 12-1 card, while James Natividad added 10.

Nicolo Consuelo had nine points for UP, which dropped a fifth straight assignment for a league-worst 1-12 card

In the other game, Far Eastern University notched its third straight victory after cutting down De La Salle, 25-21, 25-19, 25-20.

The Tamaraws kept in step of league-leader NU at 11-2 while the Green Archers slipped to their third straight loss for a 4-9 card.

Redi John Paler had 12 points for FEU with Jude Garcia and Peter Quiel added 10 points apiece.

Chris Dumago had 11 points for La Salle.
