UAAP volleyball: Ateneo nabs twice-to-beat after blanking of Adamson

MANILA, Philippines–Ateneo took no chances against Adamson to prevail, 25-16, 28-26, 25-17, Wednesday to secure a twice-to-beat incentive going into the Final Four of the UAAP women’s volleyball at FilOil Flying V Center.


At 11-2, the Lady Eagles can even go all the way to the No. 1 spot in the semis if they win on Sunday, fighting the ousted University of the East Lady Warriors in the last elimination day.

The Lady Eagles finished the match in just one hour and 27 minutes with Kat Tolentino topscoring with 17 points.


Maddie Madayag scored 13 points for Ateneo which slingshot back to the winning orbit after suffering its second defeat of the season at the hands of La Salle.
