MANILA, Philippines—Adamson University ended its campaign in the most emphatic way, snapping its nine-game losing skid at the expense of University of the Philippines, 25-20, 25-23, 25-19, in the UAAP Season 81 women’s volleyball tournament Saturday at Filoil Flying V Center.

The Lady Falcons ended their season at 2-12 for the eighth spot while the Lady Maroons finished their campaign on a four-game losing streak and settled for the fifth spot in the ladder at 6-8.

“I’m really happy because at last the system was followed and it was up to the dot,” said Adamson head coach Rogelio Getigan in Filipino. “Everybody stepped up even the rookies gave us some points.”
