MANILA, Philippines–Metropac-San Beda made quick work of CD14 Designs-Trinity, 119-70, to close in on a playoff berth in the 2019 PBA D-League at JCSGO Gym in Cubao.
The Movers dominated from start to finish, thanks to an early explosion from James Canlas who scored 14 of his 16 points in the opening period.
“We had a great start,” said coach Boyet Fernandez. “I wanted to see how the players will react in the games especially that we’re facing a winless team.”
