Archers, Tigers clash
University of Santo Tomas battles La Salle and new Tigers coach Aldin Ayo will be shooting to beat his former team for the first time when the 13th staging of the Filoil Flying V Preseason Cup gets off the ground Sunday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
San Beda tests a retooled University of the Philippines in the other game.
The Tigers and the Archers clash at 2 p.m., while San Beda battles UP in the main game at 4.

Also on tap on opening day is the start of the Under-11 Division where De La Salle-Zobel takes on Xavier School at 1 p.m.
UST seems to have the edge over rebuilding La Salle, which Ayo steered to UAAP dominance a few years back.
