Mark “Mugen” Striegl wanted a more comprehensive finish.

But a win is a win, prompting the Filipino-American fighter to celebrate his recent Universal Reality Combat Championship (URCC) success with a lunch and an exclusive movie screening with the media.

The 30-year-old Striegl retained his URCC 145 featherweight title against Japanese Shunichi Shimizu via a no-contest victory at Cove Manila Okada.

Shimizu, 34, was felled by an accidental low blow in the second round and was unable to continue.
