Top pairs begin chase for National pro-am plum
One hundred seven teams tee off in shotgun start in two batches on Thursday, each seeking to come out strong for the momentum needed in such kind of a duel in the Delimondo National Pro-Am at Splendido Taal Golf Club in Laurel, Batangas.
Tonton Asistio and Judson Eustaquio are among those kicking off their drive with the longtime buddies out to reclaim the crown they won at Mt. Malarayat in 2017 but lost to Jobim Carlos and DJ Padilla at Splendido last year.
Carlos and Padilla will skip this year’s tournament, as will reigning Philippine Open champion Clyde Mondilla, who has an injured knee, and regular partner Jeric Hechanova.

The former three-time PGT Order of Merit winner is actually in a slump that he is confident of ending this week with partner Moulay Rhounimi in the event put up by ICTSI and Pilipinas Golf Tournaments, Inc.
