PBA player agent Sheryl Reyes dies after battle with cancer

MANILA, Philippines—Sheryl Reyes, a player agent in the PBA, has passed away after a bout against cervical cancer. She was 39.

Reyes was known for bringing the likes of Justin Brownlee, Renaldo Balkman and among others to the Philippines and play in the PBA.

Brownlee has led Barangay Ginebra to three PBA championships since he made his debut in 2016. He and Balkman also joined forces to help Alab Pilipinas win the Asean Basketball League crown in 2018.

An outpour of condolences came after news about her passing surfaced on social media.

Reyes was also responsible for flying in former NBA stars Allen Iverson, Stephon Marbury and Lamar Odom to the country.
