Edwin Rodriguez sets out for a third Driver of the Year title in four years when the circuit car racing season of the 2019 Petron Philippine Motorsports Championships series fires off this weekend at Batangas Racing Circuit.
The 2016 and 2018 national champion is favored to sweep the Yokohama Grand Touring 200 races against the likes of father-and-son tandem Paul and Paulo Ivan Santos, Andres Calma and Milo Rivera.
Also to be disputed are the Phimos titles in the Yokohama GT 150 and GT 100, Classic Aspirated Cup, Philiminiracers Classic Mini, Sparco Cup and Formula V1 races.
