MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao on Monday arrived in New York City to kick off the press tour for his world welterweight title fight against undefeated American Keith Thurman exactly two months from now.
Pacquiao, who holds the regular WBA title, aims to unify the WBA belts against Thurman, the current WBA (Super) champion.

The 40-year-old Pacquiao (61-7-2, 39 KOs) also looks to continue his resurgence after obliterating Adrien Broner and Lucas Matthysse in his last two bouts.
Thurman (29-0, 22 KOs), who is 10 years younger than Pacquiao, has been a welterweight champion since 2013 when he beat Argentina’s Diego Chaves for the interim title.
From New York, the tour then, heads to Los Angeles on Tuesday for its next stop.
