MANILA, Philippines—Terrence Jones was unstoppable anew as TNT steamrolled Alaska, 99-85, in the 2019 PBA Commissioner’s Cup Saturday night at Smart Araneta Coliseum.

Jones unleashed 43 points just three nights after scoring 41 in his PBA debut.

The former NBA veteran wasn’t just about offense as he also collected 22 rebounds, five assists, three steals and two blocks in nearly 45 minutes of play before he got ejected with 2:11 remaining for an unsportsmanlike foul on Aces big man Jake Pascual.

“Our short term goal is to win as much as possible especially in the early part of the conference where we really need to pile up the wins,” said TNT coach Bong Ravena after his side rose to 2-0.

“There are still a lot more things to improve. We still have breakdowns defensively and hopefully, we keep improving.”

Jayson Castro added 14 points, four rebounds, three assists, three steals and two blocks for the KaTropa, who also dominated NLEX in their first game.

Chris Daniels posted 23 points and 19 rebounds for the Aces, who slipped to 1-2.
