One big shot came one after another, but Alaska’s LA Tenorio had the final say.

Tenorio knocked in the game-winning triple with 2.1 seconds left as the Aces clipped crowd-favorite Ginebra, 76-74, in the Phoenix PBA On Tour Saturday night at the Quezon Convention Center in Lucena City.

In a thrilling final minute, Tenorio also completed a rare four-point play that put the Aces back on top, 73-72, with 18.2 ticks left after Ginebra star Mark Caguiao nailed a long jumper.

Tenorio finished 23 points, including a 3-of-6 clip from three-point range, aside from dishing out five assists.

Cyrus Baguio topscored for the Aces, who climbed to second with a 2-1 record

Kerby Raymundo nailed seven of his 12 points inside the last three minutes, the last on a jumper with six seconds left that gave the Gin Kings their final lead at 74-73.

The Kings dropped to 1-1.

Meanwhile, B-Meg Derby Ace guns for a third straight win against Petron Blaze even as Marcus Douthit finally gets going Sunday at the Ynares Center in Antipolo City.

With two nail-biting wins, the Llamados expect another rough sailing at 6:30 p.m. against the powerhouse Boosters, who have two straight losses in an uncharacteristic shaky start.
