MANILA, Philippines—PetroGazz took its turn in handing BaliPure its latest defeat, 25-19, 25-12, 25-15, Wednesday in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
Imports Wilma Salas and Janisa Johnson turned in their usual numbers as the Angels remained unbeaten after four starts, their best start since joining the league last year.
Salas scored 13 points, while Johnson had 10 for PetroGazz.
The Water Defenders were clueless against the Angels’ attacks as they dropped to their third successive defeat.
PetroGazz dominated BaliPure in the attacking department, 15-7, in the second set where the Angels also drilled in three service aces.
