Young Sean Ramos fired a two-under-par 70 that stood out in a day of soaring scores at Luisita on Wednesday as he forced a four-way tie for the lead with Aidric Chan, Carl Corpus and Gab Manotoc after two rounds of the two-stage SEA Games men’s team qualifiers.

Ramos bounced back from an opening 76 with four birdies in the second round, making a huge jump from 15th to the top and taking a 148 aggregate into the final 36 holes.

Manotoc struggled this time and needed a closing birdie for a 77 and go into that logjam. Chan and Corpus, meanwhile, carded 73 and 74, respectively.

Luis Castro limped to a 78 and slipped to fifth at 147 while Jhondie Quibol and Edward Dy assembled identical 148s after a pair of 75s.
