The 24-year-old open hitter, who could hardly speak English, has been communicating well enough with her Creamline teammates to take a pivotal role in their offense.
“I think today team’s very good. Serve and defense very good,” said Kaewpin after unloading 27 points in Creamline’s win over BanKo Perlas on Sunday.
More than her output, the Thai national player has been doing a good job shouldering scoring chores that are usually placed on Alyssa Valdez.
Creamline will summon Kaewpin and Valdez’s partnership anew when it faces struggling Motolite on Saturday in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at Filoil Flying V Centre.
