MANILA, Philippines—Motolite finally broke through the win column after blasting BaliPure, 25-16, 25-21, 25-18, Sunday night in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at Filoil Flying V Centre.
The Motolite Spikers got around to use their formidable roster to score their first win in five matches.
Middle spiker Maristela Layug found her groove, scoring eight points to help up Motolite’s usual scorers.
The Water Defenders dropped to the bottom of the standings with a 0-4 record.
