MANILA, Philippines—F2 Logistics pulled off one of the biggest acquisitions in Philippine Super Liga history when it acquired Kalei Mau from United VC days before the start of the All-Filipino Conference.
Mau confirmed her transfer to the Cargo Movers, winners of three PSL titles, on her Instagram account after UVC folded due to lack of financial backing.
“God continues to bless me with endless opportunities to play this sport,” posted Mau Wednesday. “I am happy to announce that I am officially a member of F2 Logistics Cargo Movers.”
The 6-foot-2 Lau, who’s an outside spiker for the national team, led UVC to fifth place in the Grand Prix and she now joins a stacked F2 team that has Mary Joy Baron, Aby Maraño, Kianna Dy, Ara Galang, and Kim Fajardo—all of whom have worn the Philippine colors.
Mau’s new teammates have already welcomed her to F2 with Baron and Maraño commenting on her post wherein she wore the team’s t-shirt.
The All-Filipino Conference will start on Saturday at Filoil Flying V Centre in San Juan.
