Jr. NBA PH All-Stars get final prep ahead of Asia Pacific camp in Jakarta

MANILA, Philippines—The Jr. NBA Philippines All-Stars were treated to a send off basketball clinic by the Alaska Aces ahead of their trip to the first-ever Jr. NBA Global Championship Asia Pacific Selection Camp at Universitas Pelita Harapan in Jakarta, Indonesia.
The 10 Jr. NBA Philippines All-Stars, composed of five boys and five girls, will compete against other Jr. NBA All-Stars from Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, New Zealand, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand and Vietnam for spots in the Jr. NBA Global Championship in Orlando, Florida in August.
Alaska Power Camp director Jeffrey Cariaso and head coach Tony dela Cruz headed the basketball camp, which served as added preparation for our bets.
Comprising the boys lineup are Henjz Gabriel Demisana of Bacolod Tay Tung High School, James Yuan Ison of La Salle Greenhills, Zhan Paolo Moreno of Xavier University Cagayan de Oro, Sebastian Roy Reyes of Nazareth School of National University and Lionel Matthew Rubico of De La Salle Lipa.
The girls roster, meanwhile, is made up of Dianne Camille Nolaso of Miriam College, Kyla Marie Mataga of De La Salle Zobel, Mikylia Taborada of Corpus Christi School Cagayan de Oro, Justine Mhyrra Vibanco of Saint Joseph Parish School and Princess BJ Marie Villarin of De La Salle Zobel.
Also present during the basketball clinic to share tips and their Jr. NBA experience were Jr. NBA All-Stars alumni Kenji Duremdes, Echo Laure and Rhayyan Amsali.
Alaska Aces’ Jeron Teng, Sonny Thoss, Simon Enciso, Ping Exciminanio and Chris Banchero also gave their support to the young athletes.
