MANILA, Philippines—James Harden, the Houston Rockets superstar in the NBA, is returning to Manila on June 26 for adidas Philippines’ Free to Harden event at SMX Convention Center in Pasay City.

It will be Harden’s fourth time in the Philippines and his fans will surely have the opportunity to get to know their basketball hero better.

“We’re excited to bring back James Harden to Manila— this time for adidas— in this great opportunity for him to meet and get to know his Filipino fans better,” said Jen Dacasin, adidas Philippines Brand Communications and Sports Marketing Manager.

Harden’s first Manila visit was back in 2011 when he joined the likes of Kobe Bryant, Derrick Rose, Kevin Durant and other NBA stars in a pair of exhibition games against Gilas Pilipinas and a PBA All-Stars squad.

The 2018 NBA MVP and two-time scoring champion returned to Manila twice in 2013 for NBA 3X and the NBA Global Games.

The 29-year-old Harden is coming off another playoff run where the Rockets got eliminated by the Golden State Warriors in six games in the Western Conference semifinals.
