HD Spikers go for No. 6

Cignal HD shoots for a sixth straight win when it collides with VNS Volley Club Tuesday even as PLDT and Air Force clash in a duel of elite teams in the Spikers’ Turf Reinforced Conference at Paco Arena in Manila today.

The HD Spikers rolled past their first five rivals in imposing fashion, including four in straight sets, making them the slight favorites to get past the VNS VC Griffins, down in the 12-team field with just two wins to show in six starts.

Gametime is at 5 p.m. with the Marck Espejo-led HD Spikers hoping to shrug off the effects of a nine-day layoff and dish out another explosive outing against the Griffins.
