Manny Pacquiao back in LA ahead of Keith Thurman title fight

MANILA, Philippines—Manny Pacquiao is back at his old stomping grounds in Los Angeles where he will continue his buildup for the next several weeks.

Pacquiao hit the trail at Griffith Park Monday. He left for the United States on Saturday night.

The 40-year-old Pacquiao wrapped up his training camp in Manila at Elorde Gym near Mall of Asia three days ago, sparring with the likes of Jestoni Autida and undefeated Jaber Zayani of France.

The eight-division champion also sparred with unbeaten Tim Tszyu of Australia during his three-week camp in Manila.

Pacquiao, who holds the WBA (regular) title, faces WBA (Super) champion Keith Thurman in a welterweight title unification bout on July 21 (Manila time) at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.

Thurman, who is 10 years younger than Pacquiao, is undefeated at 29-0 with 22 knockouts.
