MANILA, Philippines–Down by 20 in the third quarter and with just eight healthy men, NorthPort on Wednesday night went to the three-point shot as its bread and butter in hacking out a 107-105 overtime decision over Rain or Shine in the PBA Commissioner’s Cup at Mall of Asia Arena.

Mo Tautuaa scored a career-high 34 points, and Robert Bolick was great at the clutch as the Batang Pier won their third straight game to reclaim a piece of the lead.

With a 6-1 record, NorthPort has essentially earned at least a tie for the last playoff berth and with four games left, the Batang Pier are in a solid place to fight for a top two spot.
