MANILA, Philippines—Nicole Tiamzon carried BanKo Perlas on her shoulders as they escaped with a 19-25, 23-25, 25-18, 25-22, 17-15 squeaker over Motolite Sunday in the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at Alonte Sports Center in Binan, Laguna.
Tiamzon slammed down three straight spikes as the Perlas Spikers completed the reversal en route to their third victory in eight matches.
She finished with 18 points as she provided another scoring option aside from imports Yasmin Yildrim and Sutadta Chuewulim.
The Motolite spikers, coming from a five-set win before the match, were at match point twice, 14-12 and 15-14,but failed to convert the winning point. They dell to 3-6.
