Ass-kicking took a different form in one mixed martial arts match in London on Saturday night, June 22.

MMA promotion Bellator 223 saw Brazilian fighter Jorge Kanella head to head with England’s Alfie Davis in the lightweight preliminary fight. During the final round, Kanella went below the belt: He aimed for a kick in the anus while Davis was on the ground.

A clip of the move with slow-motion replays was shared by MMA analyst Robin Black on Twitter.

The foul move cost Kanella a point as per the referee’s decision, with Davis winning 29-27 on all three cards.

Davis recounted to MMA Junkie on Saturday: “It was like, the bum, right at the bottom of the balls.”

“So when I stood up, it was right in the gooch. It’s normally pleasurable for a man, isn’t it? The gooch. We all enjoy the gooch, but not when you’re getting kicked straight in it.”

However, Kanella denied kicking Davis in the anus, telling MMA Fighting on Monday, June 24, that the kick was to his butt.

“I kicked his butt, and that’s normal. That’s not illegal,” he said. “He was faking it to get a point deducted, and it worked.”  Niña V. Guno /ra
