PSA Forum tackles boxing

MANILA, Philippines—Today’s session of the weekly PSA Forum centers on the recent issues concerning Philippine boxing.

Games and Amusements Board commissioner Aquil Tamano will appear for the first time in the public sports program aired live over dzSR Sports Radio 918 and presented by Smart, Pagcor and Shakey’s.

The death of Karlo Maquinto and the riot that preceded the victory of Johnriel Casimero in Argentina are some of the controversies that hounded local boxing early this year.

Also invited to the 10:30 a.m. forum are Darren Evangelista who will discuss the inaugural tour of the Senior Professional Golfers Association of the Philippines set Feb. 27 to 29 and executives of the advocacy run “Be Honest Run For D Truth” led by Jun Gacias and Bert Bugayong.
