POC special elections could be postponed
MANILA, Philippines–There’s a strong possibility that the Philippine Olympic Committee elections tentatively set on July 5 will be postponed to a later date.
With five days to go, former International Olympic Committee representative Frank Elizalde has not yet committed to chair the election committee, which facilitates the conduct of the polls.
There is a stringent process to be followed with Elizalde expected to set the election guidelines with two other members of his committee.

The POC executive board will sit down Monday at the GSIS head office in Pasay City to tackle the issue.
