Roy Docyogen stretches URCC winning streak to 10

Roy “The Punisher” Docyogen beat Rodel “Kid” Orais over the weekend to stretch his winning run to 10 fights in the Colt 45-URCC Baguio Battleground IV at the Baguio Convention Center in Baguio City.

The 5-foot-5 Docyogen of Lakay Wushu needed just four minutes and 55 seconds to subdue Orais via a Kimura Arm Lock in their Superfight, the featured match in the event presented by Colt 45 and organized by the Universal Reality Combat Championship.

The reigning URCC pinweight champion was in full control, using his wushu-style of fighting to tag Orais with heavy blows to the head and body before delivering the coup d’ grace in their 10-minute, two-round encounter.

Also posting big wins were Christian Virtudazo and Davao’s Ricardo Sapno.

Virtudazo needed just seven minutes and 44 seconds to score an RSC (referee stopped contest) win over Christian Gazmin while Sapno stunned local bet Arnold Agapito in their fight for the URCC featherweight title.
Sapno won via a rear naked choke in 6:28 of the first round.

Dave Galera of Lakay Wushu posted the quickest win of the night, stopping Guzman Piyayas in 1:27 of the first round by armbar.

Also winning their matches were Egly Diaz, Lito Adiwang, Nicolo Espadero, Keiff Mangusan and Will Chope.

Chope triumphed by tap out (punches) over Red Romero in 4:39 of the first round while Adiwang and Espadero scored similar RSC wins over Biyondi Dyandangan and Gioanni Tumitit, respectively. Mangusan and Diaz defeated Roldan Cartagena and Miguel Alo by rear naked choke in the event also supported by Chris Sports and Bulls Gloves with Solar Sports and Z Radio as media partners.
