Juniors basketball player at San Sebastian Miguel Bonalos passes away

MANILA, Philippines—Miguel Bonalos, a member of San Sebastian’s juniors basketball team, passed away due to cardiac arrest on Sunday, the school announced on Tuesday.
Bonalos was 20-years-old.
“We extend our sincerest sympathy and deepest condolences to the family of Miguel Maurizio O. Bonalos. We pray that the Good God brings the Bonalos family peace, strength and comfort to their hearts during this hard time,” the school posted on its Facebook page.
Monalos was diagnosed with a heart condition in 2018. He played in nine games for the Staglets in the NCAA Season 94 juniors’ basketball tournament.
The wake is at Premier Room 1, Loyola Memorial Chapel, Commonwealth Avenue Quezon City.
“Paalam at Maraming Salamat, Miguel!” the school posted.
