MANILA, Philippines—New San Miguel import Chris McCullough has found a new love in the Philippines.
Chicken joy.

McCullough, who has replaced Charles Rhodes as the Beermen’s import for the PBA Commissioner’s Cup, has only been in the country a few days but he already declared that the Philippines has the best fried chicken.
“Philippines got the best fried chicken don’t @ me,” said McCullough in a tweet @briskuno.

The 2015 NBA first-round pick has his favorite chicken combo all figured out, too. For his first order, he had a two-piece spicy chicken rice meal with extra gravy.

McCullough, who practiced with San Miguel for the first time on Tuesday, will make his PBA debut on Friday against NLEX.
He is tasked to turn around the Beermen’s flatlining mid-season campaign where they are stuck at 10th place with a 2-5 card.
