Creamline returns to PVL finals, pummels PacificTown-Army
Creamline is back in the finals.
The defending champion displayed the full extent of its formidable roster to crush PacificTown-Army, 25-12, 25-18, 25-13, Saturday and get through the finals of the Premier Volleyball League Reinforced Conference at Ynares Center in Antipolo.
The Cool Smashers, champions in the past two conference, will take on the PetroGazz Angels who had earlier disposed of the BanKo Perlas Spikers in their own best-of-three semifinals.
Creamline and PetroGazz star the best-of-three title series starting Wednesday.
Creamline early on piled up points on attacks, 12-8, against PacificTown aside from scoring three kill blocks on them in the opening set.
Thai Kuttika Kaewpin scored 12 points for the Cool Smashers, most of them in the second set where they outgunned the opposition, 13-7, in attacks.
