Jeson Patrombon landed his first outright main draw in the ITF Futures 3 tennis tournament slated June 6 to 12 in Jakarta, Indonesia.
Coach Manny Tecson reported that, by virtue of his world ATP ranking (1,521), Patrombon will not go through the qualifying round of the event which dangles a prize pot of $10,000.
Patrombon resumes his pro circuit campaign this weekend when he plays in the qualifying round of an ITF Futures 2 in Surabaya. “I believe he is better prepared now,” said Tecson. Patrombon managed to reach only the second round in two of four recent tournaments in India .
