Ramirez gives fellow CDMs glimpse of PH SEAG hosting

They came and were quite impressed with what the Philippine hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian Games could offer.

Chef de mission and Philippine Sports Commission Chair Butch Ramirez hosted his fellow CDMs from the 10 other participating countries on Thursday and gave them a walk through on what to expect during the Games set Nov. 30 to Dec. 11.

“I welcome you all our Asean brothers and sisters. The success of one is the success of the entire Asean region,” said Ramirez during the CDM meeting held at the Hilton Hotel in Pasay City.

They all watched intently during the presentation featuring the preparations for the Games, including the construction and renovation of facilities in Clark, Subic and Metro Manila where the competitions will be held.

Thailand CDM Thana Chaiprasit graced the affair together with Chris Chan of Singapore, Harry Warganegara and Claudia Regina Roeroe of Indonesia, Sen. Datuk Megat Zulkarnain Tan Sri Omardin of Malaysia  and Tran Duc Phan of Vietnam.

Also present were Muhd Zamri Dato Hamdani of Brunei, Sokvisal Nhan of Cambodia, Sengphone Phonamth of Laos, Kyaw Zin Moe of Myanmar (Burma) and Vicente Carvalho Da Silva of Timor Leste.
