MANILA, Philippines—Alyssa Valdez once again showed that she’s the best player in the league, winning her third Conference MVP plum in the Premier Volleyball League.

Creamline’s superstar bested out BanKo’s Nicole Tiamzon for the award after she ed the Cool Smashers to 9-1 record and a finals series against PetroGazz in the Reinforced Conference.

Valdez also won the 2nd Best Open Spiker award while Tiamzon was named the 1st Best Open Spiker.

This is Valdez’ third PVL MVP plum and sixth overall if the results from the Shakey’s V-League, the PVL’s predecessor, will be counted.

Jia Morado was named the conference’s Best Setter after tallying 5.9 excellent sets per frame for the Cool Smashers.

Tiamzon’s teammates Dzi Gervacio also nabbed individual awards with Dzi Gervacio and Kathy Bersola taking home the Best Opposite Spikers and 1st Best Middle Blocker plums, respectively.

Pacifictown-Army’s Angela Nunag was named Best Libero.

PetroGazz’ Wilma Salas and Cherry Nunag were named the Best Foreign Guest Player and 2nd Best Middle Blocker, respectively
