MANILA, Philippines—Jomary Torres’ downward spiral in the ONE Championship continued after losing to Hayatun Jihin Radzuan in the first round of their women’s atomweight bout in ONE: Masters of Destiny at Axiata Arena in Kuala Lumpur.

This is Torres’ fourth straight loss in her career after starting off 4-0, three of which were in ONE.

The Malaysian bet (5-1) was methodical in her approach to Torres’ aggressive style and managed to put the Filipino to the mat and lock in a deep triangle choke to take the submission victory 3:07 into the first round.

Torres tried to power out of the submission but Radzuan’s lock had no openings for a counter.

Radzuan bounced back from her loss to Team Lakay’s Gina Iniong when the two faced in February this year in ONE: Clash of Legends.

Torres, meanwhile, has yet to win a fight since knocking out April Osenio in 40 seconds back in January of 2018.
