NCAA: St. Benilde pulls off comeback win over Perpetual for 2-0 start

MANILA, Philippines–The College of St. Benilde Blazers survived a rough outing against the Perpetual Altas for a come-from-behind 75-63 win that put them in the company of San Sebastian and San Beda in the NCAA Season 95 men’s basketball tournament.

Carlo Young had 14 points and Kendrix Belgica added 12 for the Blazers, who got the needed breaks after the Altas were whistled for several contacts that turned the tide in CSB’s favor during the crucial stages.

Jielo Razon and Kim Aurin proved steady for the Altas after combining for 27 points, but the 21 turnovers were just too big a burden that cost Perpetual its first defeat of the season after two games.

The Blazers, Lions and Stags are all at 2-0 so far.
